Something In The Water

The ground-breaking Something in the Water Festival is a project of Pharrell Williams, the acclaimed rapper, songwriter, and producer. As a native of Virginia Beach, Williams was determined to bring Something outstanding to his hometown. When the news spread that he had come up with this plan for his city's citizens, it caused a stir across the region! an experience curated by none other than Pharrell himself!

In April 2019, the first Something in the Water festival debuted at Virginia Beach Oceanfront, enlivening attendees with a weekend of music and entertainment. Sadly, due to COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, this highly anticipated event had to be canceled for 2020 and 2021.

Festival attendees will have the opportunity to appreciate an eclectic mix of captivating musical performances from different stylistic backgrounds, including hip-hop, R&B, rap, pop, and electronic. A mix of music acts from around the world has descended on Virginia Beach for this one-time only. Get ready to experience an extraordinary 3-day festival from April 28th - 30th, 2023!
