Solar Weekend

Solar is proud to be entering its seventeenth year in 2023! Not only does this festival boast an impressive music lineup, but it also serves as a hub for incredibly imaginative and unique parties. From Thursday, August 3rd to Sunday, August 6th, campers will have the chance to experience multiple pre-parties and creative projects not seen anywhere else.

Each year, Solar Weekend proves to be the most innovative festival in the Netherlands. Over 800 creatives journey to Roermondse Maasplassen and construct magnificent stages, curate exciting games and theatre performances for attendees’ entertainment, as well as hostings and pop-up parties across the site!

Solar Weekend showcases various genres, all with electronic music incorporated throughout. Offering an array of styles, including techno, house, bands, hip-hop, and funk, Solar Weekend uniquely unites these sounds, with electronic music as the common thread throughout the festival.
