Slam Dunk North

Hailing from The Cockpit in Leeds, Slam Dunk began as a pop-punk club night in the early 2000s. Seizing this success, they soon launched into booking international tours for popular groups like Fallout Boy, Paramore, and Panic! at The Disco to perform there. It was only a short time until their vision of creating something bigger came about - introducing Slam Dunk Festival.

Slam Dunk Festival has earned its spot as the premier destination for pop-punk, rock, and alternative music lovers in the UK. With two outdoor sites at Hatfield Park and Temple Newsam Park in Leeds, Slam Dunk attracts more than 50,000 devoted fans to their amazing celebration of all things rock!

What started in 2006 as the Slam Dunk Festival soon expanded to an annual two-day event, with a northern edition located at Leeds and another southern version debuting in 2010 at the University of Hertfordshire. Known collectively now as Slam Dunk North (Leeds) and Slam Dunk South (Hertfordshire), this vibrant music extravaganza continues to capture fans from all around!
