Rolling Loud is an iconic hip-hop music festival that has spanned the globe and grown to become one of the most recognized rap-only festivals. With its debut back in 2015, Rolling Loud continues to be praised by Billboard as "the be-all of hip-hop festivals." The 2019 edition alone drew over 210,000 people from all around Miami!
Matt Zingler and Tariq Cherif, childhood friends from Florida, founded the festival in 2015. As high schoolers, they began planning and advertising parties with an eclectic mix of Southern & Midwestern rap music. In 2010 their venture shifted to booking professional acts - starting with a post-show headlined by Rick Ross!
Rolling Loud first debuted in Miami, Florida, in February 2015 and boasted a star-studded lineup featuring artists such as Schoolboy Q, Juicy J, Currensy, and Action Bronson for the one-day event. The festival happened at Soho Studios within Wynwood's district; however, it experienced an unexpected downpour during its inaugural showing that caused a temporary flood.
After two years of postponements resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, Rolling Loud Festival will finally make its debut in Thailand! From April 13th -15th, 2023, catch Scott and other headliners at Legend Siam in Pattaya. Additionally, 66 acts and international stars will perform throughout this three-day extravaganza.
Legend Siam is an ideal setting for music-crazed Thais to revel as they rap along with their favorite hip-hop tunes due to its world-famous pagodas, intricately crafted statues, and impressive temples – all of which can accommodate up to 20,000 fans!
Rolling Loud is taking its talents to Southeast Asia in 2023, providing Thai fans with an unforgettable experience of the best rap music. The festival's initial voyage into Asia was about to start in Hong Kong in 2019; however, the festival had to cancel due to ongoing unrest and protests.
At Rolling Loud Thailand, in addition to providing captivating music performances, several food stalls will offer delicious snacks and drinks for hungry festival-goers. Furthermore, creative art installations highlighting neon lights will sprinkle the venue with Instagrammable moments so that you can capture memories with fellow music lovers!
