Monegros Desert Festival

Established in 1992 and initially called Groove Parade, Monegros Desert Festival has solidified itself as a favorite among lovers of dance music both within Spain and beyond. Held each summer in the aptly named desert region of northeastern Spain, it's no wonder why people flock to this event year after year.

Each summer, Spaniard and international music fans flock to the mid-July event that lures over 40,000 people for its world-renowned electronic music performances. As one of the major players in this genre's festival circuit, each year brings out some of the scene's most sought-after talents like Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, and Underworld, as well as newer artists such as Loco Dice, Skrillex, and Skream.

After an unprecedented five-year hiatus, fans of the Monegros Desert Festival have finally been granted the news they've longed for - that, after much anticipation and speculation, its 21st edition made its return in the summer of 2022.
