Klavier Festival

For three months each year, beginning around April/May, the Klavier Festival brings together world-renowned piano virtuosos and emerging talents to perform timeless pieces of classical or jazz music throughout the Ruhr region. Organized by Stiftung Klavier-Festival Ruhr with art leader Franz Xaver Ohnesorg, this annual event promises a truly extraordinary experience for all attendees. Klavier Festival is an acclaimed gathering supported by a number of local industrial companies. It features approximately 80 concerts annually and has an annual budget of one million Euro.
