Hellfest

Every June, metalheads from all over the world congregate in Clisson, France, for Hellfest Summer Open Air. The French music festival is one of Europe's leading metal events and generates remarkable revenue each year - making it both a notable cultural event and an impressive financial success story! Attendees can expect to hear popular heavy metal music as well as discover emerging new talent.

Hellfest began as the Fury Fest, held intermittently from 2002 to 2005 in Pays de la Loire. After taking over in 2006, Hellfest has seen tremendous growth in visitors and tickets sold each day—from 22 thousand attendees at its first iteration all the way up to 55 thousand people per day! Boasting an impressive lineup of more than 200 bands and artists for its 17th edition this year, spread out across four days of extreme music performances, it's sure to be a festival unlike any other.

The programming of this festival is dedicated to hard rock and metal on its two main stages, while its four other stages are devoted to black metal, death metal, doom metal, or stoner metal. Attendees can look forward to performances from iconic bands like Iron Maiden, Deep Purple, Motörhead, Metallica, Guns N' Roses, Cannibal Corpse Anthrax, and more!
