Hardly Strictly Bluegrass

An unparalleled musical event, Hardly Strictly Bluegrass 2023 will be returning this September 29th through October 1st to Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. Financed and founded by San Francisco venture capitalist Warren Hellman, the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival has occurred every year since its inception in 2001. The event was initially designed to feature only bluegrass musicians but soon broadened its portfolio of artists to include performers from various genres, which led to the inclusion of “Hardly” in 2004.

Reimagining the definition of American music, this festival offers an immense variety of genres, from country and soul to folk. For three days, revelers can enjoy nonstop performances across six open-air stages as they join in on a vibrant weekend celebration!
