In 2005, Simon Taffe had a revolutionary idea: to create and organize his own music festival. Having been an avid fan and visitor of these occasions himself, he wanted to bring together all the bands that he loved in one place - and craft an unforgettable experience. After months of meticulous preparations in 2006, despite being acclaimed as a creative success by many admirers, it became apparent that this endeavor was not financially viable.

End of the Road has stayed true to its original vision – thoughtfully curating and respectfully presenting various bands that inspire music lovers. Annually, End of the Road is shaped by what resonates with festival attendees.

End of the Road is a one-of-a-kind environment, combining an inviting and casual atmosphere with a strong reverence for music. The site was carefully crafted to provide maximum satisfaction for festival goers as they wander amongst Larmer Tree's picturesque pleasure gardens that are adorned with captivating art installations and vibrant decorations - forming a magical woodland paradise!
