Dreadfest

Dreadfest is an independent music festival with a DIY spirit, held in both Leeds and Fell Foot Woods. This year's Dreadfest Leeds event will feature the likes of The Arson Project, TRAVØLTA, Fit to Work, Raw Peace, Sewer Trench, Good Cop, Charred Atlas, Anti-System, Crepitation, and many others! Come experience some of the UK's best grindcore, hardcore, sludge, and doom acts, plus exclusive overseas talent, at this unique celebration of alternative sounds!

The driving force that spawned Dreadfest was Megan Borman. Borman's friends, who had thrown gigs and festivals in the past, ignited his creative ambition to put on an event of a similar scale for his birthday. What began as a simple idea quickly snowballed into something far greater than expected; it eventually extended across two days and yielded quite impressive results when word spread around about what they were doing. Truly inspiring!

Dreadfest Leeds 2023 is an event not to be missed, as it prioritizes UK and local bands more than any other DIY festival. On March 31st and April 1st of 2023, you can enjoy two stages full of 25 talented musical groups, plus exclusive merchandise stands and delicious food stalls.
