Thanks to the devoted fan base that grows steadily year after year, The Big Ears Festival will celebrate its 10th anniversary from March 30 thru April 2, 2023!

With more than 100 boundary-breaking performances, discussions, interactive workshops, and installations - you'll find yourself amongst historic theaters, intimate clubs, majestic churches, pocket parks, and galleries alike. Not to mention countless surprise collaborations that will no doubt captivate your mind throughout this trailblazing event!

Big Ears is an event that brings people from across the globe to one place and welcomes them with open arms. The attendees form a unique community full of enthusiasm, exploration, and connection. To further increase accessibility and understanding, Big Ears organizes events throughout the festival by uniting world-class artists with Knoxville's vibrant creative scene.

Filled with legendary and skilled performers, the 2023 'Ten Years of Big Ears' will be a fantastic experience. There are Sun Ra Arkestra, Marshall Allen, Morton Subotnick, Danielle Ponder, and Vijay Iyer, who will be joined by the Parker String Quartet. And, of course, there's so much more!
