We value your contributions and encourage you to interact with your fellow fans! We also want to make sure that Festyful is a safe and trustworthy source for events advice and information. To help us with this goal, we ask that you abide by Festyful’s Community Guidelines and the following guidelines for Photo and Video content.
Photo Guidelines
We value your contributions and encourage you to interact with your fellow fans! We also want to make sure that Festyful is a safe and trustworthy source for live music experiences advice and information. To help us with this goal, we ask that you abide by the following rules for photos:
Family Friendly
We don’t allow media that is pornographic or vulgar. We reject photos that include graphic violence or contain other content that is not appropriate for our community.
Original
No images or videos from other sources. No images or videos that infringe on any copyright, trademark, or other legal property rights.
Non-Commercial
We do not allow photos posted to an event’s listing which contain logos, promotional material, or any other content intended for commercial purposes.
Respectful of Privacy
We respect your privacy and the privacy of the events we list. Photos will not be accepted when taken at a location where photography is prohibited. We will remove photos of other fans or events staff upon request.
Listed by Festyful
Photos must relate directly to the event to which it is submitted, so please ensure you are adding your images to the correct listing on Festyful.
Safe Files
Media files must not be contaminated or infected with a virus or any other corruption that is either intended to damage or may result in damage to the computers and systems of Festyfuland/or those using it.
Photo & Video Quality
Help other fans get the most out of your photos and videos by submitting quality content.
Photos should not:
- Be blurry, dark or otherwise difficult to view.
- Be altered in any way that distorts the scene being depicted.
- Be upside down or sideways. Please rotate photos in our photo uploader if they are sideways.
Additional guidance specific to photos:
- Photos should not exceed 10 MB in size
- Photos must be in .gif, .jpg, .bmp, or .png format.
- Photo landscape layout (wider than tall) will generally look better than portrait layout (more tall than wide). We recommend a photos aspect ratio between 1:1 and 4:3.
- Photos will be scaled to fit the standard display boxes on our site.
Video Guidelines
All posted videos must meet these requirements:
Family Friendly
No videos, images, or materials that are vulgar, pornographic, obscene, profane, illegal, offensive, insulting, objectionable or those containing other content that is not appropriate for our community are permitted. No videos may be posted by children under the age of 13.
Original/ Privacy-GDPR
No videos from other sources are permitted, nor videos that infringe on any copyright, trademark, or other legal property rights. It is your responsibility and duty to secure the permission to use the image of any individuals identifiable in the video.
Relevant to other fans
All videos must have relevance to the general event experience.
Non-commercial
Videos must be informational in nature. While logos and contact information are allowed, they may not take up the entirety of the video. Inclusion of advertising deals, offers or special privileges in videos would not be published.
Video Quality
- No blurry, dark, sideways or otherwise difficult-to-view videos will be accepted.
- Videos should not exceed 500 MB in size.
- Accepted video formats include .mp4 .m4v .mov
Festyful claims no ownership, affiliation with, or endorsement of any videos that are posted on our site. The truthfulness of all videos and captions is assumed by the owner who posted them, and their validity is not the responsibility of Festyful. You agree to defend and indemnify Festyful and its affiliates from any claims, demands, damages, fines, penalties or other expenses resulting from or relating to your video and/or the display or hosting of your video on the Festyful websites. Please note that by uploading videos, you are granting Festyfulthe non-exclusive rights to use, copy, re-purpose and display those videos at our discretion. Any video that does not meet one or more of the above guidelines will not be posted, or will be removed
