Get ready for the return of Festival Jazz Manouche Almada! Some confirmed musicians performing on the stage are Miss Manouche Quartet, André and Bruno Santos, Charles "Tchavolo" Schmitt, Daniel John Martin & Romane, Manouche Station, Dança Blues & Swing Lisboa.

Celebrated Portuguese group Miss Manouche Quartet will open this highly anticipated festival, which showcases gypsy jazz music with a swing rhythm and emotional energy straight out of the 1920s and 1930 - all inspired by Django Reinhardt's iconic tunes. Miss Manouche revives the swinging days of early radio, transforming classic hits with manouche style and infusing them with hot rhythms that you can dance to. Get ready for a wild ride as they bring their 80-minute show full of toe-tapping beats - it's impossible not to be swept away!

Tune in to experience the captivating sounds of André and Bruno Santos. As two of the most acclaimed guitarists on the national stage, these brothers have multiple albums and several other side projects. When they perform together live, you can expect a delightful musical journey full of memorable melodies, lively rhythms, and some friendly back-and-forth banter between them! Charles "Tchavolo" Schmitt is an esteemed manouche jazz icon who exemplifies a forgotten art form, thought to be forever lost in the depths of musical history. Tchavolo symbolizes an era where playing gypsy guitar was solely about emotionality and finesse in communication, not complicated progressions or showy techniques - but instead conveying one's soul through each note and every strum of the pick.

Romane is a renowned master and indispensable ambassador of French jazz in the style of Django Reinhardt. He has played an essential role in elevating gypsy jazz to its present international acclaim amongst contemporary guitarists. On the other hand, Daniel John Martin possesses a captivating stage presence and extraordinary skill as one of today's most sought-after violinists. Growing up in Africa and France, he developed his passion for jazz while attending Parisian conservatories during adolescence.

Come to this impeccable festivity and witness Manouche Station, where they will pay tribute to two of music's finest – Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli. They will recreate the sizzling sound from the 20s and 30s, transporting audiences back in time with its bohemian energy, glamour, and entertainment! What's more exciting is that Blues&Swing Lisboa dancers have agreed to join Festival Jazz Manouche Almada as special guests.
