Supercrawl is a must-see multi-arts festival for those in Hamilton, combining independent music, art exhibitions, fashion shows, plays, and literature with handmade crafts. An eclectic medley of soundscapes and other multimedia performances will be showcased along the pedestrian walkways of downtown.
Supercrawl is a dynamic not-for-profit arts organization devoted to recognizing, exhibiting, and revering every kind of creative expression by showcasing both local emerging artists alongside important provincial, national, and international peers. The festival supports the promotion of artistry along with all its corresponding advantages for its community.
In 2009, a passionate group of Hamilton-based creators and community builders founded Supercrawl out of their ardent enthusiasm for highlighting the city's distinctive culture and vibrant art scene. The renowned event has progressed from only one day on a single block to an entire weekend, taking in over two kilometers of downtown streets, with attendance numbers rising drastically from 3,000 people to more than 250 thousand!
Supercrawl is not only a hotbed of food trucks, craft vendors, and beer gardens located at the north and south stages for adults but also an engaging Family Zone with plenty of activities to keep kids entertained.
