In the spring of 2011, the Rīgas Ritmi festival had a tour in the United States. Maris Briezkalns Quintet captivated crowds with their concerts and interviews around Washington, Philadelphia, and New York. This journey culminated at none other than Blue Note Jazz Club located in New York City–the first time Latvian artists have headlined there!
