Every year since 2010, the Pell Mell Festival has taken place in Obererbach near Montabaur and Limburg (Germany). It's a Metal, Hardcore, and Rock festival that marks the end of the local festival season. This event is essential for anyone who wants to rock out before they break away from summer festivities into winter.
Pell Mell Festival provides a much-needed platform for punk, punk rock, ska, hard, and metalcore music in its homeland. It is also an excellent opportunity for local bands to be exposed to a slightly broader audience. Of utmost importance in designing the lineup of this festivity are regional acts as well as national and international ones that come together to form an eclectic mix providing something truly unique!
The inception of the Pell Mell Festival was on August 12th, 2006, and it took place for a single day. It all began after two remarkably victorious "rock nights" (including the iconic Bubonix) in the Erbachhalle, with more than 500 people attending at the end of 2004 and the start of 2005. After those successful events, this festival has been thriving ever since!
Recent years have seen many amazing bands grace Pell Mell Festival's stages, including Adept, Any Given Day, Atlas Losing Grip, Betraying The Martyrs, and Born From Pain, to name just a few. Other acts like Caliban, Deez Nuts, and Die Kassierer offered something for everyone in the crowd! Egotronic, Emil Bulls, and Fiddler's Green provided an unbeatable live experience. There were also performances by Imminence, Itchy Poopzkid, Madball, Rise Of The Northstar, Sondaschule, Unearth, and ZSK are some of the incredible artists that have joined in the fun at the festival.
