Baumbart and Tales of Ratatösk had a great idea in 2017 to create the Mead & Greed Festival, which enabled folk & pagan metal bands from Germany to network better with each other and generate more performance opportunities. With this passionate initiative, they have impacted their scene positively by providing an invaluable platform for collaboration between artists.

After a humble gig at Helvete, the vision of creating an immersive two-day folk and pagan metal festival emerged. This event sought to bring together established and up-and-coming bands to reinvigorate Germany and international scenes. The inaugural Mead & Greed Festival was launched in 2018, achieving its mission with great success!
