Every year, the Head in the Clouds Festival transforms into an exciting celebration of music and culture! As organized by 88rising, this star-studded event showcases talented musicians across Asia. Take advantage of one of this year's most sought-after events--Head in the Clouds Festival!
In 2015, Jaeson Ma and Sean Miyashiro established 88rising as a music collective representing artists from the Asian diaspora. Over time, they began to manage an exclusive selection of Asian rappers dedicated to creating a hip-hop collective.
Historically speaking, the event has elevated the Asia music scene to another level. The Higher Brothers first wowed audiences in 2017 at a live performance in Los Angeles, featuring Rich Brian, Joji, and Keith Ape performing alongside the collective streaming from Chengdu. Their immense success on this tour inspired them to continue their journey with the Double Happiness Tour later that year, showcasing just how much appetite there is for Asian rap performances across America.
Last year's Head in the Clouds Festival showcased an international lineup of incredible artists, including Jackson Wang, Rich Brian, EaJ, Bibi, Warren Hue & Chasu, Kinjaz, Chungha, Dabin, Milli and Mxmtoon from America as well as Yeek and Raveena from Australia. Additionally, legendary acts such as Dumbfoundead also stepped onto the stage. It was indeed a night to remember. Let's gear up and anticipate even better things this year!
