The Edmonton Folk Music Festival is a yearly event with the mission to honor affordable folk music, generate impactful and inclusive experiences, and construct an active community of volunteers, performers, vendors, and supporters from Edmonton in Alberta plus all over the globe. The festival boasts six electrifying stages hosting workshops and concerts all day. Satisfy your cravings with dozens of food vendors offering an array of culinary delights, from carnival favorites to vegetarian fare and international specialties. Explore a village tent full of craftspeople hawking their goods, or purchase albums at the CD tent featuring all-star performers. And don't forget to swing by Western Canada's largest beer garden!

For two years, revelers were treated to a fifth night of music, with the proceeds from that show benefiting the EFMF endowment fund. Since 2011 though, festival-goers have had only four days to enjoy this celebration of artistic expression held at Gallagher Park, situated near downtown Edmonton and overlooking the North Saskatchewan River valley. During winter, it serves as a ski club, while in the summertime, its natural amphitheater provides spectacular sightlines for fans awaiting performances on stage with an urban backdrop offered by none other than downtown Edmonton itself.
