Charleston Jazz is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing musical awareness and education, as well as preserving jazz history in the Lowcountry. Since 2008 when it was first established as Jazz Artists of Charleston, the group has earned its prestige by presenting outstanding performances from talented musicians who breathe life into this music genre. Their mission also encompasses special events & educational outreach programs that keep them connected with the community.

Charleston Jazz is dedicated to preserving Charleston's profound history in jazz music and growing a global and local community for the art form through performances, education, and outreach. To achieve this goal, they manage the Charleston Jazz Orchestra along with the annual Charleston Jazz Festival and Academy.
