Austin Blues Festival

In 1999, Clifford Antone, founder of the iconic music venue -Antone's- began hosting his first celebratory event: The inaugural edition of the Antone's Blues Festival. Held at Waterloo Park, it was a spectacular showcase for legendary blues musicians such as Buddy Guy, John Lee Hooker, and Ray Charles over the first three years.

Jumping forward two decades, Antone's and Waterloo Greenway have joined forces to bring blues music back to the Moody Amphitheater in Waterloo Park. This outdoor venue features an impressive lineup of renowned musical talent and can accommodate up to 5,000 people for a memorable experience that will last forever.
